Anthologies are one of the things I love to check out at the library or second hand bookstores. They're my go-to way to get to know new authors, or even well-known series that I haven't started to read in earnest (I read a lot of Sookie and Dresden short stories before attempting those respective series). While they can sometimes be a mixed bag, I love anthologies because you can get so many different feelings or types of stories all about the same theme!
